Heyo!

Thanks for stopping by! If you're reading this, then that means that you've stumbled upon my little corner of the web. It may not be much, but in my eyes that makes it all the more cozy. ^_^   Go ahead and explore the site! I've put some of my stuff up here, and perhaps you'll find it interesting.

What is this place?

This is my personal website. That's the simplest way to put it, anyway. I created this website partly to have an online presence and partly to have a place to host my various projects, but mostly because I find the idea of having my own website to be really, really cool.

If you want to know even more about the site, I've put together an About Page for that.

Works, writings, and whatnot

This website is the place where I host a lot of the things that I've worked on and want to share. Those things can be found in my Works Page, a listing of my creative endeavors. I also have an Instagram page at @calligraphy.owl where I post my calligraphic works.

I've also put together what I call my Writings Page. This is where my writings see the light of day, whether they're updates on my projects or just random thoughts and meditations. You can think of it as a blog of sorts—I just didn't want to call it that. ¯\_()_/¯

Most of what I put here falls into one of those two categories. The main thing that doesn't at the moment is the live chatroom. Yay, multiplayer! This will require a site account, which you can set up here.

If you want to keep up with what I make, then feel free to subscribe to the feed.

What's in a name?

The Squishy Lab isn't the most typical name for a website, I'll admit that. It's a name that I picked from a long-gone service that let people pick names for a "Secret Box" that they could personalize online. It may be strange, but it's been endearing enough to stick through 12 years and six revisions of the site. Still, it's fun to imagine what could have been...

About me

I'm currently pushing through engineering school, but in my free time I tend to drift between interests. In particular, I find myself drawn to art, music, design, philosophy, linguistics, and programming, among other things—those tend to be the things that I put up here.
