Creative Works
Creativity can manifest in many ways. For me, it often manifests in music, writing, and the visual arts. But it also manifests in digital art and programming projects. I aim to make The Squishy Lab a suitable home for all of these outlets.
The first section listed on this page is dedicated to my programming projects, ranging from games and applets to interactive articles and animations. I've set aside a few of my favorites in a featured list below.
The second section is a listing of music I've made. At this point I've mostly dabbled in arrangements, but any originals I write will be uploaded here too.
I've also been doing calligraphy for quite a while now. Those works are currently hosted on Instagram at @calligraphy.owl—I may migrate them here if I ever get around to properly digitizing them.
Featured Projects
After taking courses on numerical methods and dynamical systems, I was inspired to put together a physics applet simulating a double pendulum—one of my favorite examples of a chaotic system. Built with Haxe and OpenFL, the applet allows for customization of the mass, length, and damping of each pendulum, as well as moving them around in real time. Play around with it—it makes a great virtual desk toy, too.
What do you do after you design your own writing system? Make a typesetting software for it, of course! LoshSetter is a tool I devised to typeset Losh, a constructed script used to write American English. Features include Markdown support, phonetic input, page layout customization, and automatic conversion from English spelling to Losh.

The first major game I programmed and published, Bananas! Empire Edition: Remastered is a Cookie Clicker-style idle game running entirely within the DOM. Featuring over 15 upgrades, 100 achievements, and plenty of secrets to find, it's a fun and relaxing experience that's sure to leave you going bananas for more. I've beaten the game in 20 minutes—try and top my record!
